6 -8m Tall

Blue bamboo has attractive 3cm blue canes if grown in the shade. They turn pink if grown in the sun. What I love about this bamboo is the soft and graceful leaves and very blue new culms.
It makes a dense screen and best left unclipped to show off its gracefulness.
A good alternative to Black Bamboo which is an invasive runner.
Light shade. Cold hardy to -5
